Today I’m expressing how much I like getaways even when they’re short (ie. 5 hours long). England is relatively easy to drive around in and discover new places and even if you don’t have a car, coaches and trains are really convenient too. Portsmouth is a city in the south coast of England. Interestingly, it is the UK’s only island city. We spent the afternoon there eating and walking around and then eating some more – everyone knows there’s a separate stomach for dessert!

Also, I kinda love wearing flowers in my hair. If the weather was nicer I would wear them everyday, even if I got weird looks! 
We strolled along the port and it was really lovely, even without sunshine! Next up on my list is Cornwall which is a longer way from London but looks beautiful!
