Trans-seasonal dressing

The weather has been acting all crazy lately – Spring is nowhere to be seen, it comes and goes and deciding on what to wear is a task in itself. You’re cold in the morning, pack a huge scarf – need sunglasses or an umbrella by the end of the day, who knows! So a mix of layers is the best way to dress this season I find.

I love wearing dungarees, as they are so easy to put on and you’re ready to go! This time I paired them with a lace beige top and a lovely green jacket, that is just warm enough for the different temperatures. I also put on a layered beaded necklace to top it all off. The dark denim hue of the dungarees, makes them appropriate from day to night, depending on what you pair them with. A white crisp shirt can make them more ‘serious’ for example. The wide-leg is very popular this season and very flattering too.

For your own take on trans-seasonal dressing, layers are very useful. Also for me, you can wear most things all year round, with the right accessories and clothing combinations. A silky dress with tights and a cashmere jumper, can be worn through spring when it’s cold and even autumn. Feel free to experiment!
