DB BERDAN is a Turkish brand by mother-daughter duo, Deniz and Begum Berdan based in Istanbul.

Now in their ninth season the duo will present their latest collection for A/W 15 at Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul in March, and have previously been part of Vauxhall Fashion Scout. They are stocked at Wolf and Badger in London and had been stocked by Harvey Nichols Istanbul.
Deniz Berdan started her career as a fashion editor and worked in publishing for 11 years while consulting and designing for several brands in Istanbul. Her daughter Begum did a foundation degree at acclaimed Central Saint Martins and then went on to do costume design for performance at London College of Fashion.

Their clothes are full of funky prints, vibrant colours, humour and femininity while remaining futurist and wearable. Their prints would be restricted in the Middle East, in Dubai for instance because of religious reasons, which explains why they have found recognition in London.

DB BERDAN have collaborated with several brands already such as Starbucks, Disney, Maybelline and Turkish Douglas Cosmetic. They have also designed a costume for Katy Perry’s PepsiCo Rocco.
Their aesthetic is young and vibrant and I could totally see myself wearing their clothes.
