I came across OM Skincare last year at Space NK, which is my favourite place to discover new brands. It’s an all natural brand developed by Dr Om Prawarisa who wanted to create a brand around mindfulness and natural beauty and skincare.
The capsule skincare collection Dr Om has created is perfectly suited to all skin types and created for different climates. The Daily Radiance Moisturiser for instance, changes depending on the humidity of the climate you’re in.
The latest addition to the line is the Mindful Traveller, the perfect on-the-go product, that combines a the award-winning Pure Glow cleanser and moisturiser in one convenient small tube, perfect for your handbag/gym bag or plane toiletry bag.
It is also refillable, which is perfect for travelling. The cleanser is great as a second cleanse for morning and night, while being hydrating and removing makeup. The moisturiser is rich and anti-ageing, and helps with hyper-pigmentation.
Having met Dr Om on the preview of her products I have so much trust in the development of the brand and how the products are created. She is very knowledgable, with a doctorate in Cosmetic and Pharmaceutical Science, she wanted to combine the ‘chi energy’ found in nature with ingredients that can be used by everyone in every country and climate, while delivering the maximum skincare benefits. The ingredients are chosen based on their effectiveness and take their healing properties from land and sea. The brand wants to create the perfect balance between feeling good from within (with mindfulness) and great skin with good ingredients (with the skincare line).
