Funky prints is the signature style of the designer duo behind luxurious knitwear brand Leutton Postle, Sam Leutton and Jenny Postle.
The presentation for their AW14 collection took place in Hix Soho and apart from tasty cocktails and fish dogs also featured -of course- clothes. Long skirts with stripes in primary colours that resemble abstract paintings, furry short-sleeved jumpers and elegant form-fitting dresses were some of the clothes shown.

There is a focus on separates and the feminine silhouette while still employing the designers’ signature style of graphic patterns. For the first time they use monochrome that is juxtaposed against the flashes of bright colour.
The shoes are a collaboration with London label KULT DOMINI and I cannot wait for them to be in stores.
For yet another season Leutton Postle continue their partnership with Lurex and use their soft textural yarns together with thicker jacquard knits.
A short video was playing in the background with the two models walking around Blackpool wearing the new collection. The film is created by Amy Gwatkin, who also worked with Leutton Postle on the SS14 film.
Great presentation in a fun and friendly environment.
Sam Leutton in their SS14 collection
I saw the new collection in greater detail at the Designer Showrooms at Somerset House, and took pictures of my favourite items.
My outfit for the day also focused on monochrome, just like Leutton Postle’s new collection. I was wearing skirt, top and jacket by Atelier Tammam, Zara booties, Balenciaga bag and Comme des Fuckdown beanie.
Stay tuned for the rest of the shows and presentations I went to during London Fashion Week!
