The pair behind luxury knitwear brand Leutton Postle met during their BA in Central Saint martins in 2005.
Sam Leutton from Stockport did knitwear innovation in Shangai and then returned to London to work independently. Jenny Postle moved from Wolverhampton, her hometown to London to study at Central Saint Martins. Her MA collection was bought by Browns Focus. She then created Leutton Postle with Sam in 2011.
The embodiment of their brands is: “Someone playfully creative who has a sense of humour and adventure,” the pair revealed for the LFW website.
Their sample sale opened on the 5th of November and will remain open till the 10th. They have recreated the Hackney Shop into a playful room; the walls are covered with aluminium paper and painted over with different colours of spray paint.
They have some cardigans with intricate details that also appeared in Garage magazine (the ones hanged on the window), as well as several clothes and accessories from their A/W13 collection and several pieces from S/S14 available for pre-order.
Silicone chokers and bracelets
Scarves and bag
My favourite pieces were a cropped asymmetrical blue and white top with colourful beads:
£140
A gold cropped jacket
£270
And a long dress with a blue transparent chocker from the summer collection
Get down to Morning Lane quick! Too cool to be missed.
