My fellow Greeks living in London or elsewhere in the world, will understand when I say that finding good Greek food away from Greece doesn’t come easy! And it’s definitely the thing I miss the most apart from the sun and the sea. So when I was invited to a Greek dinner at Tramp, the private member’s club in Green Park, I knew I couldn’t turn it down! It was the best thing I’ve done on a Thursday evening in a long time. The menu was designed by Sergio Tzianos and was cooked by him with the help of Tramp’s head chef.

Starting off with a selection of starters to share, like Graviera cheese saganaki (fried) and succulent chicken skewers with fig that were marinated in mastiha, orange and mustard. And some sea food as well, juicy prawns in a tomato and ouzo sauce (garides saganaki) and sea bass carpaccio marinated in lemon, mustard and honey. So delicious!

For the main course, I chose the vegetarian option, a vegetable moussaka. Layered aubergine, potatoes and courgette oozing with flavour and a mushroom/tomato confit on the side.

For dessert we shared loukoumades (doughnuts) with walnut and a rich chocolate ganache and cheese cake with mizithra cheese and sour cherry compote.
On to the outfit, I went for a high waisted skirt and see through shirt combo.
I was wearing: D&G see through silk shirt (similar, similar, similar), Zara skirt (here), Zara booties (here), Zara furry clutch (here), necklace from Portobello market
