The new Glossier product is a hybrid between make up and skincare. I’ve been using quite a few products in this category in the past few months, like the Chanel Water Fresh Tint and the Beached rays for days serum so feel like this product was made for me.
How does Glossier FutureDew work?
Instructions say to apply as the last step of your skincare routine, but for me this is a “primer” or base product instead, so I apply after my SPF. I’ve used this for about two weeks, for daytime and nighttime looks and it’s a yes from me. I’ve used almost daily since receiving this and I think it’s a great product.
The packaging is holographic pink and shimmers, it’s glass which makes it feel very luxurious.
I used it on its own to see if it can actually give that perfect dewy base, without any shimmer or glitter or anything like that. My face is glowy but still looks like skin which is what you want with a product like this.
I’ve been using all over but It can also be used as a highlighter on high points of the face. If you prefer to wear a heavier base then this can be mixed in with your foundation/base product to create a glowier base.
Glossier FutureDew Ingredients
Glow & hydration: a blend of (non-comedogenic) oils like jojoba, grape seed, rosehip (good for discolourations of the skin) and evening primrose. Evodia Rutaecarpa Extract a fruit that has anti-inflammatory properties and enhances brightness. Squalane (sugar cane derived), a very hydrating ingredient and light-reflecting minerals.
It’s, of course, cruelty-free and vegan, I believe the whole of Glossier line is.
