Last week was the private opening of the photography exhibition of French, London-based LaëtitiaWajnapel, photographer and founder of Mademoiselle Robot at The Hoxton Hotel. The event was organised by agency Unsigned ID and sponsored by Cointreau and it was the last instalment of their Bloggers Series. The photography series is named ‘Hometown/Dreamtown’ and the images projected on the wall and put up on the walls of the Hoxton Gallery, explore both abstract and detailed images of a dreamy town. The images are all for sale and will be on display in the hotel until the 30th of March, so if you’re in the area go have a look!
Check out some of the images from the event below.
Finding the little details that make our city dreamy and interesting is what Laëtitia has done through her images and the end result makes me reminisce of my own hometown, the lazy afternoon walks when the sun falls into the sea.
Lemon-y Cointreau cocktails
Cointreau for ages
I had never been to The Apartment in Hoxton before and it’s a really nice, cosy and home-y space that will definitely visit again in the future. We had some drinks (strawberry-mint-Cointreau being the best one), took some photos on the photo booth (who doesn’t like a photo booth at a party?!) and mingled for a couple of hours.
