Lena Dunham; actress, screenwriter, producer, director and now author. You may not particularly like her or her HBO show Girls and even if that’s the case you definitely have to respect her for her attitude towards life and generally people. Personally I love her, her writing is witty and catchy and her show much more realistic and believable than Sex and the City (Carrie you’re a struggling writer but buy $700 Manolo’s every couple of months – who are you kidding? I still love you anyway) and she isn’t afraid to show she is a real person with flaws, despite –or in spite of– the occasional criticism.
Now she came up with a book, a real one not an e-book, (excuse the Girls reference) called Not that Kind of Girl and I cannot wait to have it in my hands. What’s even more exciting is that her stylist for her book tour is Sophia Amoruso, founder and CEO of online shop Nasty Gal (and also author of bestselling book #GIRLBOSS) a match made in heaven if you ask me!
