Egyptian Magic 25th anniversary

If you’re not familiar with Egyptian Magic, let me give you a quick debrief; it’s the only brand that’s 25 years old and only has one product. This one product though kind of speaks for itself. Celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, their hero cream can basically do anything. It’s an all-natural moisturising healing cream, but it’s also so much more than that.

It is based on a traditional Egyptian technique – it might be the closest thing to what Cleopatra would have used! The founder, Lord-Pharaoh ImHotep-AmonRa, worked with an Egyptian doctor to create it back in the 90s.

When it was first created, the founder was trading the product for food. The word spread around in California and in 2003, it made it in the news after Madonna and makeup artists started using it.

It only includes 6 natural ingredients like olive olive and bee products. Bee by-products are in fact self preservatives, so no extra preservatives, additives or parabens need to be added. The product has a shelf life of 3 years, and has a wide variety of uses. It can be used on the whole body from a hair mask, as a lip moisturiser, to help with psoriasis, eczema, sunburns; it’s an all-rounder through and through.

This product is also excellent for makeup artists, as it can be used to change the texture of makeup to create a liquid shadow or 3D shine for instance. It is great used on one feature, on the eyelids for example, while keeping the rest of the face natural, and it can also be mixed in with pigments, like a highlighter or shadow to create a more fluid look. It’s definitely better for the wintertime as at summer it might melt.
