The rockiest pâtissier in France

The only place where you can actually eat macarons and get a tattoo almost at the same time, opened December last year on no 95 of Rue Saint-Honoré (1st) by Guillaume Sanchez and Adrien Moisson. The name? As fancy as it should: Horror Picture Tea.

This patisserie is so original because of the cosy rock ‘n sweet atmosphere created by the owners as well as the special flavours of macarons (like mango-cumin, from 6€) plus the low-cost tattoo (60€ for small tattoos and for bigger designs 120€/per hour).

 Tea + pastry/sweet = 10€

Sanchez (on the right), 20, tattooed from head-to-toe, successfully mixed the french patisserie with all things rock. He said:

I’ve wanted to combine my two passions: patisserie and rock. After having started making sweets since the age of 13 and being nominated best “student” in France for 2006, I researched developments for big patisseries like Ladurée or Pierre Hermé!

For more information check their website and their facebook fan page for news/events.

Next time in Paris I’ll make sure to check it out!
