Street-style’s greatest: STREETFSN by Nam

Since the great Bill Cunningham many photographers have focused on street style. This has changed both the fashion and style we expect to see as well as the photography itself; who doesn’t enjoy to look at people dressed up for Fashion Week and generally being caught in the lenses of a photographer that values good style? One of my personal favourites in this category is Nam, a Korean street-style photographer whose pictures are always pleasant to see. On his personal blog STREETFSN  he posts his personal favourites from people he photographs in the street. He also has a daily feature Italian Grazia.

What I especially like about his photos is how natural they are, even when people are posing, the final product still has a vividness and energy that makes me feel like I was there when the scene was captured. I also like the way he categorises his shots, by creating posts with one particular subject; for example “Men in Winter” as well as certain detailed shots that one wouldn’t notice as naturally as he does. With an excellent eye for detail, colour and vividness Nam’s STREETFSN is definitely my favourite street style blog.

Follow Nam on Twitter, see more from his work for Grazia here and take a look at his blog: the english version, or the Korean one.
